Why ALET UTCs & Partners?
ALET UTCs & Partners is a perfect example of leading organisations within the digital infrastructure industry working in collaboration to create a solution to the industry’s ongoing talent shortage. The initiative is making significant strides in introducing the younger generation to the digital infrastructure industry and the amazing career opportunities there are within it. Working in collaboration with ALET, the thirteen partners are helping to educate young people, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they will need to start successful careers in the industry.
The evolution of this initiative is continuing as more companies join the partnership and awareness – and demand – for the programme grows. UTCs provide high-quality education that encourages lifelong learning by empowering students with transferrable engineering skills to become responsible engineers to meet the needs of the digital infrastructure industry, today and tomorrow. At every stage of the evolution of this initiative, ALET and supporting industry partners have strived to create a welcoming, supportive environment for students from all backgrounds, that promotes learning, builds confidence, and equips young people with the industry knowledge they need to pursue rewarding careers within the digital infrastructure industry.
Together, ALET UTCs and Partners combine to help attract new talent to the industry, establishing a stronger and more diverse sector, with opportunities for businesses and individuals to thrive and support the wider society. This is the legacy that our collective as a whole strives to deliver, day in day out, for the present and future of the digital infrastructure industry. This initiative is proof that industry collaboration works and the more companies that join us, the stronger we are and the more effective we can be. We will continue to encourage more organisations to support the initiative, to leave competition at the door and to work together for the benefit of the industry.
