The University Technical College (UTC) Heathrow and their amazing industry partners!
CNet Training is delighted to be celebrating after returning from the Datacloud Congress and the Datacloud Global Awards in Monaco with the ‘Education and Employment Project Award 2022’ for the UTC Heathrow ‘Digital Futures Programme’.
UTC Heathrow is the first technical college to be dedicated to the Digital Infrastructure Industry. The curriculum, named the ‘Digital Futures Programme’, is designed and delivered alongside industry partners LMG, CyrusOne, Yondr, CBRE, Amazon Web Services, ARK Data Centres (Crown Hosting Data Centres Limited) and Virtus Data Centres.
The award recognises UTC Heathrow as a groundbreaking initiative to unite industry leaders to actually address the talent shortage across the Digital Infrastructure Industry.
The exclusive ‘Digital Futures Programme’ is a brand new curriculum aimed at giving students the finest possible start for a career within the data centre sector.
“I am very proud that UTC Heathrow and our Digital Future’s Programme partners have received this award. The commitment from all the partners is clear in supporting the education of our students, to give them the right skills to succeed throughout the Digital Infrastructure Industry” said UTC Heathrow Principal, Wayne Edwards.
“The Digital Futures Programme is great example of how education and industry are working together to support the skills gap in the Digital Infrastructure industry by delivering the skills through experience and essential qualifications.”
