Each year, over 100 industry colleagues gather to enjoy an unrivalled day of golf that raises funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. This annual event is open to all network infrastructure and data centre professionals, and is held at the prestigious Hanbury Manor PGA Championship Course in Ware, Hertfordshire – one of the best in the world.
CNet will be entering three teams into the competition which will see four ball teams compete in a ‘best 2 from 4’ full handicap Stableford competition over 18 holes. The golf is followed by a three-course dinner and prize giving in the evening, along with a charity raffle.
The origins of the Charity Golf Day go back to 2005 with the aim of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity with an ambition to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. The total figure raised since the first event is just under £90,000.
