CNet received the accolade for its ongoing support for the Armed Forces community. The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families. The Bronze Award is presented to organisations who have pledged to support the Armed Services, have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and promote that they are Armed Forces friendly and employ reservists, Armed Forces veterans, cadet instructors, and military spouses and partners.

In February 2020, CNet signed the Armed Forces Covenant (pictured here), which is a promise from CNet to actively support the Armed Forces community and ensure they are treated with fairness and respect in the community, economy and society, and are not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives.
CNet has a long-standing commitment to supporting Service personnel during their time in the Armed Forces and throughout their resettlement. Since 1996, it has educated thousands of Service leavers, providing them with the skills, hands-on experience and necessary qualifications to enter the network infrastructure and data centre sectors (the digital infrastructure industry).
