Members of the CNet Training team attended a Careers Fair yesterday hosted by County Upper School in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (UK), to share advice with young people on the career opportunities available across the digital infrastructure industry. Ken Hillyer and Josh Boulton answered questions from groups of pupils from Years 7-11.
This is just one way in which CNet is working to raise the visibility of career prospects in the digital infrastructure industry (encompassing the network cable infrastructure and data centre sectors) which is widely recognised as the “fourth utility”. Unprecendented growth in the industry has resulted in a global skills shortage and CNet is keen to do everything possible to inspire the next generation to consider a career in this dynamic industry.
