CNet Training has donated the Data Centre Fundamentals Program to the UTC Heathrow Curriculum.
CNet Training is pleased to show further commitment to the UTC Heathrow initiative by allowing all students to undergo the Data Centre Fundamentals program. Thank you Mike Halliday and Candace Rose Kumi for your help implementing this.
The Data Centre Fundamentals (DCF®) program is a perfect addition to the curriculum. It’s an on-demand distance learning program that demystifies the complex world of data centres and provides a structured overview of the data centre environments, the role of the data centre and key operational aspects.
Successful completion will also add to the students’ credentials by providing official certification and a digital badge.
Launched in November 2021 at UTC Heathrow, the exclusive Digital Futures Programme was created alongside several global digital infrastructure leading companies; CNet Training, CBRE Data Centers, Yondr Group, CyrusOne, LMG (lmgiq.com), Ark Data Centres, Amazon Web Services (AWS), with the objective of introducing new talent into the digital infrastructure industry, allied to the sector experiencing a critical skills shortage.
Now, a year into its inception, the initiative has won the ‘Education and Employment Project Award 2022’ at the prestigious digital infrastructure focused Global Datacloud Awards in Monaco.
