The CNet Training team visited the University Technical College (UTC) Heathrow last week to deliver ‘CV Writing and Interview Skills’ to students as part the ‘Digital Futures Programme’.
UTC Heathrow is the very first UTC dedicated to the Data Centre Sector. The Digital Futures Programme is a highly specialised curriculum designed to teach young people all about Data Centres and give them the best possible start to a career within the Digital Infrastructure Industry.
The CV Writing and Interview Skills class was delivered by the CNet team Pat Drew, Ken Hillyer and Julia Taylor, who taught the students how to write a compelling CV and provided practical insights into the main elements to consider when being interviewed.
All students on the Digital Futures Programme were asked to give feedback on the day; a remarkable 100% of the CV writing class found it either ‘valuable’ or ‘very valuable’, with the same ‘top marks’ given to how more confident the students will feel when going to a future interview.
CNet would like to thank Candace Rose for her help in organising such a rewarding day.
