Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year. In a world increasingly defined by ecological overshoot, we need action to #MoveTheDate. If we move the date 6 days each year, humanity can be out of overshoot before 2050.
