CNet Training is delighted to welcome Kao Data as a partner of UTC Heathrow’s Digital Futures programme. The University Technical College (UTC) at Heathrow is the very first UTC dedicated to the digital infrastructure industry and is shaping the future of the industry by teaching 14-19 year olds the essential skills needed to forge a successful career in the field.
Kao Data joins existing partners: Ark Data Centres, Amazon Web Services (AWS), CBRE, CNet Training, CyrusOne, LMG (lmgiq.com), Soben, VIRTUS Data Centres and Yondr Group.
The Digital Futures programme has commanded great attention from the digital infrastructure industry since its inception in 2021 and recently won a significant global award. The success of year one has led to plans for three further UTCs, dedicated to the industry, to open over the next three years.
Andrew Stevens, CNet Training CEO, commented, “It’s hugely satisfying to see the UTC Digital Futures programme gaining additional support from industry partners. When we started this initiative, our goal was to break down industry barriers and work together to address the industry’s skills shortage. The more partners who join the programme, the more successful we can be in achieving this goal. It’s great to have the Kao team on board and I would like to thank them for the support and for helping us change the future for many students for years to come.”
