CNet Training’s President and CEO Andrew Stevens hosted a tour of UTC Heathrow for a group of international visitors last week, sharing his ideas on how to tackle the skills shortage in the digital infrastructure industry.
Tim and Beth Gentle from Australian IT Services, along with Simon Allen and Jeff Omelchuck of global, non-profit, professional association Infrastructure Masons (iMasons) and Collette Nabyonga from TechInclusionUK, were keen to learn how CNet is making a difference with vocational education in order to tackle the global skills shortage and introduce new talent to the Digital Infrastructure industry.
It is hoped that raising international awareness of the Digital Futures programme at UTC Heathrow will encourage the appetite for initiatives such as this to be replicated in countries across the globe.
