Was your most recent downtime incident preventable?
The Uptime Institute Data Center Survey 2020 highlighted that 78% of organisations have stated that they have had an IT-related outage in the last 3 years. 75% said that their most recent downtime incident could have been prevented with better management, training and improved processes. This figure increased by 15% since 2019 when the survey asked the same question.
This survey highlights that with the correct training and detailed operational procedures in place, it can work to improve reliability and reduce accidents/incidents significantly.
