The weather forecast is looking sunny for Wednesday, when CNet Training’s Andrew Stevens, Sarah Parks, Ken Hillyer, Olly Day, Josh Boulton, Melissa Scarfe, Robyn Frampton, Tanya Wright and Erika Hooper will be heading to Hanbury Manor to take part in Inside_Networks 2023 Charity Golf Day.
Each year, over 100 industry colleagues gather at the prestigious Hanbury Manor PGA Championship Course in Hertfordshire, UK to enjoy an unrivalled day of golf and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Four ball teams compete in a ‘best 2 from 4’ full handicap Stableford competition over 18 holes. The golf is followed by a three-course dinner and prize-giving in the evening, along with a charity raffle.
The origins of the Charity Golf Day go back to 2005 when the event was first held with the aim of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support – a charity with an ambition to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. The event has continued anually and the total figure raised has reached almost £90,000.
