A recent Uptime Institute Data Center Education and Training: Outlook for 2024 survey highlighted three main reasons when respondents were asked why their organizations invest in education and training.
When asked “Regarding your organization, what would you say is its motivation for investing in education/training? Choose no more than two.” the three primary contributors selected were: keep up with data center trends (43%), overall job requirements (40%), and competitive advantage (38%).
“Keeping staff skill sets up-to-date helps organizations maintain continuous data center operations worldwide,” says Andrew Stevens, CEO of CNet Training, an Uptime Education company. “Regular education to increase the knowledge, skills, and credentials of data center teams is of great importance to today’s mission critical facilities.”
